Young Economic Policy Designers Workshop - Yep-D
Yep-D aims nurturing the skills of policy analysis, collective decision making and professional communication while keeping the global economic linkages at the center, the series brings together undergraduate and early graduate students to elaborate a different set of scenarios every year. It maintains a goal-oriented attitude on the side of the participants, which often is a missing asset at the beginning of a young professional’s career cycle. Skills related to intellectual/professional discussion, decision making under tight constraints and effective reporting have thoroughly been considered. By bringing together the spirit of “hackathons” of computer science and a collection of challenging policy questions of economics, Yep-D emulates an experience close to real-life.
